The goal: Make a significant impact on the Spy Museum’s social media presence as the first dedicated Social Media Specialist. Prove the ROI of social media and support SPY’s mission of educating the public about the world of intelligence and espionage.

The plan: Craft compelling stories that inform without lecturing. Develop a short form video strategy to reach new audiences. Connect and communicate with our digital audience and convert them into lifelong SPY fans. Share, analyze, iterate.

The result: When I took over the SPY Instagram in July 2023, it had 19k followers. As of December 2024, we have 42k. We are reaching more people than we ever have by listening to our audience and meeting their needs.

TikTok

I started posting regularly on TikTok in Spring of 2023. Since then, we have amassed 750k views, 70k impressions, and maintained a 10% engagement rate.
